Dear weary homeschool Mama who is trying to wear all the hats at the same time,
Have I got news for you!
I see you. You are trying to find the words to make a cohesive sentence at lunch time on co-op day. You are striving to give your children the BEST education possible. You are trying to keep your house spotless clean enough to walk through, while you are chasing a toddler or bouncing a baby or answering the endless: Why Mommy’s, all while keeping your sanity intact.
You cook three meals a day, you clean and clean and clean again, and you teach them diligently. But still, you fall in bed each day defeated by all you are trying to do!
My, the many hats of the homeschool mama.
I used to be you. I used to let the laundry pile spilling onto the floor, and the sticky mess in the fridge, and the never ending to-do list leaveย me outmatched, defeated, and unfulfilled at the end of each exhausting homeschool day. But there is a better way!
This may be shocking, and you may think I am crazy: but hear me out. You don’t have to have it all together to be a good mom and teacher. NO ONE has it all together at the same time. (Gasp! Shocker alert!)
Let me repeat while that sinks in: ย no one has it ALL together ALL the time. Including the mama you look up to the most or the mama who pretends to be all put together on Facebook.
Wearing 25 hats at the same time won’t make you more efficient, it will make you look silly! ๐ It will cause you to fall into bed thinking that you haven’t done enough. Every. Single. Night.
I am putting together a course that will help you determine which hats are the most important for your family, so you can decide which hat to put on every day. If you plan which hats to wear at which time, just like a well put together outfit, your homeschool and your home and your chores and your cooking and every other task you complete in a day will all run like a well-oiled machine!
You can end each evening rejoicing in all that the Lord has done through you in one day. <3
Until then, READ THIS! Hang in there mama! You’ve got this! ๐
