Easy CC Cycle 2 Tutor Lesson Plans
Cycle 2 Week 4
This has been a very busy week for us, so we have been working on our memory work whenever we have a spare second. My husband and I decided we would quiz the kids over dinner one evening. We planned to chant or sing anything (GASP! Yes we allow them to sing at the dinner table! 😉 ) they didn’t fully know as a family. As we were going through things with our 6 year old son, whom we expect to remember most of what we learn, we were shocked that our 4 year old said EVERY piece of the memory work we have covered so far perfectly (other than a few skip counting flaws). But she said EVERY. WORD.
It was amazing to hear her sweet wittle 4 year old sing song voice say all those big words. We were in awe of how much both of our children are retaining, and how much fun we are having learning this memory work together. That same sweet little voice helped me pick out clipart graphics to make our memory work review game for our CC class this week. The kids I tutor in CC and my own children helped me come up with some super silly, fun motions and voices to turn into printable cards for a game.
