Foreign Language to Know God and Make Him Known
To know God and make Him known is one of the deepest desires of my mama heart. If God is real (and I assure you He is) then nothing matters more than to know Him in a deep and meaningful way.
The Bible says if we love Jesus (God made flesh) then we will do what He commands us to, and we are commanded to make disciples of all nations.
This discipleship begins for us mamas with our brood of children within our homes.
One of the biggest reasons we homeschool is so that we can teach our children God’s truth. We want our kiddoes to know and love learning God’s word. We have a goal of learning Hebrew so that we can read the Bible in its original language and thus gain a deeper understanding of the original intent of the God-breathed words.
Did you know 73% of the Bible was originally written in Hebrew?

Learning Hebrew has helped us:
- Unlock a much deeper understanding of the Bible
- Understanding a language that Jesus and the other heroes of the Bible spoke
- Developing a personal revival in devouring God’s Word
- Growing closer to our savior and Lord, Jesus
While you can use any language to reach people for Christ, there is no better way to understand the life of Jesus than to learn His language and customs.

We have added Hebrew into our homeschool routine this year, and my kiddoes are LOVING IT! They constantly beg me to do our Hebrew lessons, and they love telling daddy everything they have learned when he gets home every day.
