Resurrection Day: An Easter Activity Book Curriculum Review
*I received a copy of this curriculum and was compensated for my review. All opinions expressed are completely my own, and a positive review was not required.Looking for some fun, educational activity sheets to do with your kids or students this Easter? Look no further! Katie Hornor from Paradise Praises has put together an educational activity book focused on beginning letter sounds, handwriting (cursive and print), simple math, cross-word puzzles, word searches, coloring pages, and even a creative writing prompt. I found that some of the activity pages were perfect for my 5 year old and others were great for my 7 year old.
This Resurrection Day activity book was a super fun addition to our typical Easter and Passover family traditions. Something about super cute, themed activity sheets makes my homeschool mama heart happy! Bonus points if they are educational and your kiddoes don’t realize they are doing educational activities. They simply thought we were having fun throughout the whole book.

I had intended to have them work on a couple of the Resurrection Day activity pages each day while I read the Bible stories about the Passover and Jesus’ death and resurrection. However, my kiddoes wanted to complete the whole thing as soon as they got their hands on it! There are over 30 pages of activities in this book, which provided us with a few days worth of fun. If my kid’s weren’t so enthused about fun activity pages with adorable clip-art style images for coloring, it might have lasted longer.
Part of the activities in this activity book were written in Spanish. The author, Katie Hornor, and her family are serving as missionaries in Mexico and have a passion for teaching the Spanish language. Although my kiddoes aren’t able to read Spanish (neither can this mama 😉 ) it provided a fun opportunity to have Google Translate read the instructions and translate the words so that the Spanish pages could be completed. If you are learning Spanish in your homeschool, these pages would be perfect for you!
Pros
Fun, educational worksheets to use with your Easter/Resurrection Day or Passover homeschool plans
Good for multiple ages and abilities
Reasonably Priced!
Cons
Activity pages are created for multiple skill levels. Because I have a 7, 5, and 2 year old these activities were perfect for sharing. If you only have a younger or an older student, not all of the activities may be appropriate for your child’s skill level.
Would I recommend this Product to a Friend?
Yes I sure would!
We will probably keep this workbook as a keepsake for years to come. I would like to remember this sweet season of digging deeper into the truths found in both the Old and New Testament’s of God’s Word, as well as their special creations inside this Resurrection Day activity book. <3
